McDonald’s Safety Campaign

McDonald’s launched the ‘McDonald’s Safety Campaign’ in September 2015 in order to bolster the company’s industry-leading safety-oriented culture and to encourage safety consciousness among riders.

Under the slogan, ‘Let’s keep safety of riders together’, McDonald’s is conducting various activities including systematic safety training in cooperation with regional police agencies and is also replacing protective gears such as helmets and uniforms with even safer models.

Using the momentum of McDonald’s safety Campaign, McDonald’s will put its best efforts toward reinforcing the safety of riders, providing a safe and
happy workplace for employees and offering convenient services to customers.

  • Two. a McDonald’s rider prioritizes the safety of pedestrians.
  • Three. a McDonald’s rider always wears safety gears.

McDonald’s Exemplary Safety-Oriented Culture for Riders

  • McDonald’s has been prioritizing delivery rider safety ever since the company started McDelivery in 2006 - the first in the QSR industry to implement delivery services.
  • McDonald’s has been designating areas for delivery services
  • Temporarily halting and reducing delivery services during inclement weather.
  • McDonald’s conducts regular safety lessons and daily bike inspections, while also providing the safest motorcycles under 80cc and safety gears to riders
  • Offering incentives to riders not involved in accidents.

McDonald’s, a Safe and Happy Workplace

McDonald’s will continuously put effort toward in providing a safe and happy workplace for not only riders, but also for all employees working at headquarters and restaurants.
